Happy Minds is an online counselling platform for Nepalese people residing in and outside of Nepal. We encourage people who suffer from mental health issues such as anxiety disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder or anyone who has experienced unfortunate situations in life, such as sexual assault, domestic violence, gender-based violence and more to get counselling. We provide convenient, discreet and affordable access to accredited therapists anytime, anywhere, through a computer or tablet.
Counsellors on Happy Minds are experienced and accredited psychologists and clinical social workers or licensed professional counsellors. All of them have a master’s degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. Their work focuses on gender-based violence, trauma healing, trauma release, depression, anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, suicide prevention and more. While their experience, expertise and background vary, they all have 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience.
To provide you with a counsellor with most relevant experience can take between 1- 48 hours depending on the counsellor’s availability.
Once we confirm your session date/time, you and your counsellor will get a zoom code which will be your private and secure place to communicate. Good internet connection and silent environment is recommended to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted session.
You will be provided with a link that connects you with your counsellor (technical support will be available if needed). The session will be allocated between 45 to 60 minutes where audio connection is a must, however, a webcam is also encouraged for better face-to-face like setting.
